Volunteer Update

As The Whitechapel Mission cares for our most vulnerable guests in the face of COVID-19, we are supported by volunteers in activities adjusted for social distancing and safety as much as possible.

Volunteers must be healthy to serve. You should not volunteer if you or someone in your household:

• Have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 10 days.
• Have experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms or gastrointestinal issues in the last 5 days
• Have been in contact with a person diagnosed with or showing symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 5 days.
• Are currently required to self-isolate.

From 19th July 2021, the governments restrictions are being lifted and this requires additional care when considering volunteering.

• We require volunteers to be virus free
• We require volunteers to sign-in upon arrival and sign the entry agreement
• This agreement will be emailed and can be signed in advance or on the day.
• We ask all volunteers to take every precaution to stay safe.
